• One is the quick release strap
• And the other is the double D ring strap

But the questions that arise are: Is quick release helmet strap better than the double D-ring strap? Or the double D ring strap is better than the quick-release one?

Well, they both have their own advantages and disadvantages. One is better in some way while the other is better in some other way.

When it comes to safety then the double D ring helmet straps are the safest in the market hands down. It does not matter what the makers of the quick release strap say, they just cannot match the safety provided by the double D ring straps.

Since we are talking about discomfort then let me tell you, it comes with excellent inner paddings as well. It has been around 1.5 years since I purchased it and its padding hasn’t loosened up much.

It also comes with an additional anti-fog visor which helps me a lot in winter. Axor Apex Seadevil also comes with two motorcycle helmet visor types. One is the clear visor and the other is the hidden smoked visor. As a result, I ride my bike on hot sunny days without having issues.
