Tata Nexon EV has been given Green Car Award 2021. Tata Nexon EV secured the first position with total of 106 points. It was followed by Hyundai Kona Electric at second position with 99 points. MG ZS EV secured third position with 93 points.

For those who do not know, the Green Car Award has been added for the first time considering the push towards electric vehicles. Green Car Award, like the Indian Car of the Year or ICOTY, will be conducted every year, it will considers cars that are assembled and manufactured in India. A panel of jury members will decide the winner on the basis of many factors like price, features, performance, design, comfort, safety, value for money etc.
