Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2021 version of the Swift. It now comes with a starting price of INR 5.73 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. And will cost you around 6.28 lakhs on-road Delhi. While its top most variant is priced at INR 8.41 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. And will cost you around INR 9.42 lakhs on-road Delhi. New Swift only comes with a 1.2L petrol engine and is not offered with a diesel engine.

Changes to the exterior are very few and you will hardly notice them in the real world. The front end now features a thick chrome strip on the grill. And the grill now has a mesh-pattern. Other change that you will notice is dual tone body color. But this dual tone body color is limited only to the top most ZXi+ variant.

On the inside the only change that you will notice is the new 4.2 inches colored driver display. Other new features include cruise control, idle start-stop function, electronic stability program with hill hold assist and key synchronized auto-foldable ORVMs. However in Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021, most of the new features are limited to the top most variant.

The main update of the new Swift is however the new K12 Series Dual Jet Dual VVT 1.2L engine. This engine now produces 7bhp of more power. As a result this engine now produces maximum power of 89bhp and a maximum torque of 113Nm. The new engine with idle start-stop function returns better fuel efficiency. and it now offers a claimed efficiency of 23.20kmpl with manual transmission and 23.76kmpl with automatic transmission.
